New from Gretsch® Drums, the Marquee series delivers explosive, open tones, professional features and rock solid performance at an accessible price. Marquee shells combine 7-ply North American maple with a slight softer maple species that are cut with classic Gretsch 30-degree bearing edges and fit with 2.3mm triple flanged hoops. This Gretsch-designed shell formula gives the Marquee powerful, open attack with warm tones and deep sustain. Shell exteriors are tinted and finished in a multi-step satin poly-finish that produces deep colors but still allows the natural wood grain to come through. Shell interiors are hand sanded and finished in a hand-applied tint that seals the interior shell and adds a rich, distinctive appearance. All drums include round Marquee badge and Remo® drum heads.
